How It All Started
David “Max” Hernandez had a dream of building the type of financial firm that could integrate all the financial tools needed for entrepreneurs to succeed. For more than 22 years, ever since immigrating from Cuba, Max has helped hundreds of business owners deal with every type of financial challenge.
He returned to Miami Dade College and Florida International University, and other Universities to teach Accounting, Audit, Tax and Financial Subjects. He recently graduated from Anaheim University as a Doctor in Business Administration (DBA) – in Entrepreneurship, and he is currently finalizing his dissertation on “Lived Experiences of Immigrant Entrepreneurs in Miami “.

David ” Max ” Hernandez
Max began his career working at several small family businesses and Fortune 500 company offices throughout Miami-Dade County while attending Miami Dade College and Florida International University.
In 2005, he passed the Certified Public Accounting exam and began his CPA career at a Big Four Accounting firm in the Audit Department.
By 2006, he was working as full-time College professor while launching his CPA firm. What started as an alternative solution to traditional accounting services, has transformed into a very integrated and unique financial solution.
Adriana began her career at a local automotive dealership in charge of Customer Development program, while undergoing her Business Administration studies at Miami Dade College.
She joined Max Financial since its transformation in 2013 as an associate in the accounting department, she has been promoted over the years, to her current important role as Marketing and Sales Development Manager.
Recently, she graduated from Florida International University with an undergrad in Management.
Silvana is a Finance Professional with more than 15 years of experience within the Finance Industry.
She is Max Financial’s Office Manager, where she supervises the Office Administration, Accounting, Payroll and Tax Preparation Services not only for our firm, but hundreds of clients.
Silvana can be seen handling multiple client needs, delegating to staff and interns, while providing key accounting, payroll and tax preparation training.
We transitioned long ago from “bean counters” to entrepreneurial and financial transformational change leaders.
